But that little debacle does not overshadow the fact that Juliani is the hottest names in the music industry. His latest single ‘Utawala’ has been widely played and well received by the public who can relate to the message which highlights the bad governance in the country.

Due to the ambiguous nature of his music, many people are not sure whether he is a gospel or secular artist. To this he commented by proclaiming that he got saved back in the year 2005 and he spreads the word in his music.

He has based his music on his past inspirations, which were mostly issues facing him and those around him. After getting saved, he got a clear picture of what he was supposed to do, a mandate of what was expected of him as a Christian.

He clarified that every person has a right to interpret Juliani’s music in their own way. But they should understand that he spreads the word of God through each one of his songs.

The single ‘Utawala’ is aimed at raising awareness among the Kenyans to build themselves. That Kenyans should not see themselves as victims. They should get together amongst themselves to build each other and the country as a whole.
